I share a birthday with Rosemary Sutcliff, whose (mostly) YA novels about Roman & Sub-Roman Britain have sparked a lifelong enthusiasm for those subjects in many readers.(I'd really love to do the illustrations for an edition of SWORD AT SUNSET or EAGLES OF THE NINTH one day)
