Initial pencil sketch on the Zabanya Gundam commission. In this stage, the sketch is helping to resolve some complex geometries in this particular perspective view. The next step, adding all the details. Drawing size 9"x9", pencil on paper.
Zabanya commission complete. Pencil on vellum, drawing size 11"x11", drawing time 12 hours. Basic linework is done with H lead pencil and the outline is done with 3B lead pencil. Swipe to see close up images.
I have been busy working on a multiple commissions at the same time. Here's one of them, the final linework for the Turn A commission. Final linework is done on procreate in order to increase the scope and size of the artwork. More on this and other commission work soon.
