I love the later runs of The Tick comics, and how each creative team brought their own brand of weirdness to the mix, but there's something really special about the original Ben Edlund run. It was this strange mix between Sam and Max and Morrison's Doom Patrol.

I remember it being compared a lot to Megaton Man, another superhero parody which followed the more standard MAD-style formula. While that can be fun, and it certainly has its fans, I found it pretty tiring pretty quick.
