idk if i should post this here, but this is a project i did a while ago about gerard way! comic creator that also had a band a time ago

one of my finals was to make a non-fiction zine, so i finally decided to pour my feelings into my art and make a zine about my dad! for those who don't know, my dad passed away when i was 12 and he left a hole in my heart (1/3)

and the thing i remember the most is the music! we used to do long road trips and he would always put his mp3 CD full of old songs, so i mixed those songs with the memories that i had and poured my soul into it (2/3)

all the art in this zine was based off old photos that my dad and my mom took of us, it was really emotional to revive it all and draw it, and i hope he's proud of me, i had a great time doing this and i feel like that hole in my chest stopped hurting a little bit (3/3)
