Here is the process. Now that I see it I prefer the position of the background characters in the sketch. I'll have it in mind for the next time.
I'm returning to make gesture studies before working. I really recommend to make at least half an hour of studies before working on your illustrations and drawings. For me has been the best way of learning. This year I would like to focus on action scenes.

I made this for @xadanny94 but I hope more people find it useful. This how I think and built the main forms when I'm gonna to draw boots. Mine are really cartoon and exaggerated but the main shapes are the same.
