Para el proyecto del 50 aniversario de Ashita no Joe (あしたのジョー), You Moriyama (森山 洋) y su staff tuvieron algunas ideas, una muy interesante es que pensaron en hacer una serie centrada en Rikishi Tooru. You Moriyama presentó su Concept Art en la expo de 2018.
