R I P the very great Tom Palmer Marvel's TOMB OF DRACULA is still by far my favorite long running horror comic and it wouldn't have been nearly what it was without the art of Gene Colon--And in my opinion Colon never looked better than when inked by Tom.

Wrightson My favorite of his Frankenstein illustrations though it does not appear in the book. I believe I read somewhere that he felt it showed too much about the creation process of the creature. Well, maybe, but Victor's pose is fantastic.
