I'm releasing the notes I made for my last class mentorship !! Hope it's helpful to someone! [A thread]
Looking at these notes now, I have gotten a lot better and learned so much from making them!! I'm rly glad I started this ⭐
I had a voice over video explaining all these concepts but I'm not releasing those ever, so I hope these notes are understandable alone ;^;
⭐⭐⭐The way I stress Asymmetry in every single critique I do ?? Exercise: Find ur fave artist that draws fluid poses, trace over their work to see asymmetry, 99% i guarantee you will see it in one way or the other and they might not even be trying ?
Trying 🍃
Dad 💑
Carve (1/2) An original poem about a sculptor that lost their muse. TW for talk about death //
A tracing exercise to help you get better at feet :D !! This is a step forward to understanding how feet are in 3d! After tracing some refs, try drawing some from your imagination !! (I swear the step puns are unintentional)
"Will you marry me?" (1/3)
"Everyone can be Miku!" ??? Also y'all please tell him he looks adorable or he will cry >:[
"My two grandpas ?"
Adding to this! Try using your tracing as your reference rather than the photo reference - photo refs are complex to simplify if you don't know what to simplify! It's easier to simplify a tracing :] https://t.co/5vY8pqJ7LA
