A few years ago I started a graphic novel from an idea I had in high school. A handful of pages in I realized I wasn't super into it anymore, so I scrapped it. Here's what I'd finished: (1/3)
The comic was gonna be about a girl who's been cursed to live the same shitty life over and over, over many generations and reincarnations. When her current incarnation starts straying from the set-out path, a demon (disguised as a human) comes to straighten her out. (2/3)
So it would essentially be a fun road trip story about a toxic, obsessive relationship between a human and a demon that's been watching her for hundreds of years. There are still some parts of the whole that I like, but ultimately it was a very high-school-edgy idea, hahah. (3/3)
A trope I like: characters that are always completely neutral
