Christmas penguins always bothered me, as they live in the South Pole and most holiday lore takes place in the northern hemisphere. Friends and I have adopted the extinct Great Auk, Pinguinus impennis, as the official holiday "penguin", which we celebrate on the solstice.

Vacation doodle from 2017 when our Airbnb host boldly and flagrantly accused us of stealing a pillow (mine) vs. vacation doodle from today when I got weird side eyes from hotel staff for bringing a pillow out of my hotel room (also mine). The Comfy Bandits are relentless!
