@MiMoccio Oh, interesting! I use a mix of both, but ink traditionally. Either way, I treat pencils as "this is all the information I will need to lay down final lines," which for me is indications of pose, background, clothing, patterns, etc, less attention to line weight/detail. Like:
moodboard: me, VALIANTLY STRUGGLING not to dunk on the debut YA novelist who really thought "I didn't like this manga, so I decided to lift the entire premise and write my own version" was a reasonable and professional writing strategy
LRT: It is astonishing looking at the side-by-sides. Compare those to excerpts from this book by John Lowe, which covers similar material but is laid out and executed COMPLETELY differently.
