Today's Art Tip is: a general rule of proportion is that the middle of the eyes is the widest a moth can stretch in a smile. This is a GENERAL rule because breaking it is a good way of pushing expressions, making them way more extreme and easy to read.
Already noticing some major improvements because of this heads class I'm taking, WHOA!!!

So this fun fact about the colors of the leaves was inspired by the Race for the South Pole. When one of the two explorers reached the site, he erected a tent full of supplies for his "competitor," and surrounded it with colored flags so it would be easy to spot.
