People working analogue will literally print out & tape their text to the page & work around that. In both cases, it's best to create the most accurately sized balloons w/the text already there!
@RogerBrunke Cool! Keep in mind that i have a bad habit of bulking up everyone I draw so my rendering of your design might be a little too chunky. Your ribcage placement & proportions are good; I think we're seeingl too much upper arm. Foreshortening tends to make everything squash & overlap.

Today's Art Tip is a basic bit about staging and handling wider shots! A lot of beginners do a TON of midshots and closeups in their work because those are EASIER TO DO, DANGIT, but playing with the camera makes your work & stories way more engaging to the audience.
