Now that the episodes have been out for awhile, I'm gonna put up some of my favorite boards from season 2 of She-Ra! This is from the 2nd episode, it was really fun drawing Catra happy for once lol
Light Spinner was a super challenging episode for a lot of reasons, but it was one of my favorites to work on. I always tried to draw Micah as similarly as I could to Glimmer, my boy (that room was a friggin pain in my butt to draw over and over)
Finally, this was one of the most rewarding sequences I boarded on She-Ra. I was lucky to have boarded a lot of Catra/Shadow Weaver moments, and I treated this confrontation with as much care as I could. Thanks for coming down memory lane with me!
I like going back to read Octopus Pie because it's just such a delight/triumph of how unique the storytelling experience is through comics https://t.co/BXYleXCQQh

grief is weird
i do this everyday to bb and she never stops me
a tiny tip to flavor ur storyboards: instead of keeping line+reaction separate (A) you can show the character reacting to dialogue at the same time (B, also known as an L-cut)
why does this keep happening in movies in the year 2019
my process for storyboards lol
