I can't believe I'm starting my week with a rt from one of my favorite storytellers and directors of all time 😭 I can't thank him enough tho, times are tough, so having an intensely inspiring movie is just pure gold to me! Anyway I think its gonna be a wonderful week ☺️

lunch sketching

1/ Last year I did something that I haven't done in a while. I joined a class and was a student! It felt so GOOD to revisit foundational skills and was lucky it was with Kevin Chen at CDA! A new term has started and they have open seats. I want to share my class experience:

11/ the Studios to potentially gain copyright outputs from unethical GenAi foundational models. Models that artists like myself are suing for exploitative & unfair practices. This is what the Studios themselves claim they want, commentary sent to the US Copyright Office!

8/ An entire room of over 30 artists all crowded around to watch Iain McCaig and Kim Jung Gi both drawing side by side, both of them with the biggest smile. It was a truly memorable moment!

4/I revisited muscle groups learned fun facts about the body, and how to break down shapes in extremely memorable ways. I sincerely hope he writes a book because it would be a bestseller! I bet his kindness and funniness will permeate through the pages! Also, LOOK at his work!
