(11/14) As the series goes on, we get all kinds of genre homages. Zom 100 has the comedic chops and confidence to dip into the superhero genre and have it successfully work in the context of the story. And it's very funny.

(12/14) I already really love the cast of characters that is slowly forming, and can't wait to see what other weirdos get thrown into the mix. Especially as Zom 100 has shown explicitly that it's not afraid to get very strange, very quickly.

(2/17) One of my favourite things about these comprehensive Junji Ito anthology collections is being able to see the variety of styles Junji Ito has used in his comics over the years.

(4/17) This is used to great effect as a high-contrast jump scare in some stories, used in a reveal panel to emphasize the strange features of a face-stealing creature. It's the only panel on the page with a shadowy background, using the white of the face to draw the eye in.
