Early 2005 I got the Oddworld art book and discovered Steven Olds. Found out he was head of vis dev at rockstar games and they were making a sequel to Red Dead Revolver. I was like, what??!! Applied for a concept job there and tried to be him for the next 5 years.
More work stuff. At this point character pitches got loose so 3D proxies could be made and tested before we committed. Never got to do another pass on it. Early drone sketches as well. Oh, in this pitch sketch she's japanese/indian so that's why her hair is straight.
