My new sculpture, Undone, began as this weird concept for a realllyyy sad Superman. But, I don't know, the concept was weak and the composition even weaker (imo). I woke up one night, the bloody sculpture in my head, and I proceeded to take the whole thing apart, moving where it wanted, allowing the process take the lead. Undone is one of those moments where the result is so much better than the plan. And I'm happy it came to be.
