A thread of Project Nought's progression, from 2013 to now ❤️🧵

In highschool / 2013, Project Nought was originally conceptualized as an illustrated novel! These aren't direct character carry-overs, but I'm realizing the bottom two characters look most like Phoebe and Jia.

In 2015, I decided that I wanted to try my hand at webcomics. Only a few months before I started Rock and Riot, I drew 5 pages... They never saw the light of day. These took me so long to draw that I immediately gave up and switched to a simpler story.

During that hiatus, I decided to see if I could pitch my story as a graphic novel in 2019. Because I had to switch back to page format and I was experimenting with style, my skills took a dip.
