Rough Kraid and Ridley redesign ideas. I'm sure I've posted some snippets of Ridley before, but using the weird-ass manual artwork from 1986 as the basis is the only way I ever want to draw these two- I've especially had enough of the Pterodactyl look. #metroid #nintendo

For some reason, I felt like revisiting the "influence map" that was popular to fill out once upon a time. I feel like my artistic influences change from year to year, with some mainstays always lingering around. If y'all want me to identify any of 'em, lemme know!

Got this neat little Final Fantasy Monster Manual from 1989. Even though I've seen all the art, the scans are larger and more clear than most modern FF artbooks I've seen.
