We all know how provocative Kuroo is, but only Kenma can diss him and shut him up without him being able to complain. I mean, it's really rare to see these facial expressions on Kuroo's face as he is known for being a "pain in the ass" by the others.
But seeing him make these kinds of faces around Kenma gives me the feeling that he always loses to Kenma. Though, it's not that he doesn't like Kenma's way but I think it's more on the thought that Kenma is right and he just can't simply argue with it.
Or perhaps, he just doesn't want to provoke Kenma bc he doesn't want Kenma to get mad at him. See, on this panel, he immediately apologizes to Kenma. No wonder Kuroo once addressed him as a "Demon King."
