I think what really gets me with Oikawas arc, is that he is talented and skilled and hardworking, but it just isn't enough. Someone younger comes in and is just BETTER. So he works his butt off to get ahead while he still can, what else can he do? Then he STILL loose.
Kageyama is coming up to replace him, and Ushijima just seems endlessly ahead. And neither of them seem to even break a sweat
