Seeing hyper polished marvel and DC comics with a whole team of artists for every step of the pipeline made comics feel like an like an unattainable goal, like only PROS can make them, but growing up with books like these were like "wow! I could do that! I could make comics!"

All the webcomics I read in high school had that same feeling like "Wow! People make these! *I* could make these!" and that's what got me into making comics

When I was a kid even just reading about how to get books in front of people made me excited to make books, it demystified the process so much, like, this more than anything made me want to dig my hands in and make things because it was all so attainable.

I honestly believe part of the reason teenagers went ravenous for manga when it started becoming more widely available is if you look at a Marvel/DC comic it's like "how do you make that? I can't make that" but a lot of manga sparks that same "yeah! I could make that!" emotion

I think about this Farside comic constantly

Make your foreground overlays work for you

Some people thought making sketchbooks out of garbage was a cool skill to have, so I am going to teach you how to do it if you also think digging through stranger's recycling bins on the curb could be a fun distraction from all of the terrible things in the world. https://t.co/7OVPS1HH2i

Some thoughts on how fashion becomes "kink clothes", and how it isn't all about sex.

Character design for anthropomorphic animal shows is just one long spiral of "Does the chicken wear pants like this or like that"

Facebook tells me it's the seven year anniversary of this art and it's as true as ever.

We're doing it bro we're making it happen

Imagine being so joyless and unpleasant you think artists are a hinderance to children's books. https://t.co/S8G2pBxzwC

A lot of people who only watched the Cromartie High anime and never read the manga don't know why Kamiyama ended up in the juvenile delinquent school for badasses, so I just want to clear up that mystery for you.

I wonder if anyone who does not play these games will believe me that this actually happens in them

The comic about Giovanni as a little kid, taking care of this hurt Persian even though it scratches and bites him every time he touches it, is probably the one pokemon story that I've internalized the most as Rock Solid Giovanni Canon
