That's right - I tend to think of it as the prime piece of information the page is meant to convey. In this first page, it's panel 1, where we realize the convo Bond and M are having is actually about M's daughter, while the 2nd page is all a setup for the comedy beat in panel 5. https://t.co/nrBfRWL1fh

@dancinaintfking That IS a good rule, although it's helpful to keep in mind that showing the environment doesn't always have to mean boots on the ground. Here's another page from SOLSTICE, in which Ibrahim Moustafa manages to move Bond from MI6 HQ to a train without drawing a single shoe.

MEANWHILE: Readers on the @webtoon app can read up to two weeks ahead via Fast Pass, and THIS week's new installment? It's a heavy one. Madame Ferrier and Inspector Crabb team back up to find some answers - and hey, monkey's paw, then get `em. This one changes things.

Since I've seen some light confusion in the comments, let me just confirm: LAVENDER JACK's Johnny Summer is (1) a trans man and (2) a romantic interest for our hero. The narrative style for the series tends towards understatement, and I'd hate for this to get lost in translation.

Don't get me wrong, a lot of people knew Johnny was trans the minute they saw him way back in Season Two Part four, but I have enough humility as a writer and an artist not to blame people for not picking up what I've been trying to lay down.
