This isn't even the fifth most wonderful thing about these strips, but I love the ever-changing logo. Always some different funky object, which, and this is key, never seems to have anything to do with the rest of that week's story. Genuine genius ?
@Blankzilla I'm not sure I could pin down exactly why, but J'onn's follow up is one of my favorite in-context lines ever - it's so pleasant and cordial and even avuncular, like the Angel army is this toxic aggro fraternity and the JLA is just a healthy professional friend group
