I've talked about this elsewhere, but for my money, Batman's escape from Hugo Strange's lair in BATMAN AND THE MONSTER MEN #4 is among the best sequences of the character's history

@BrennanWagner3 Brennan and I are co-writing this, which has been a real fun experience - we worked together on the art side of WILL EISNER'S THE SPIRIT and a few others, and scripting with him has lead to a product that feels in line with my voice but in a different, maybe more sincere tone.
