We chose to do our FLASH GORDON revamp a few years into Team Earth's time on Mongo, but we still do little flashbacks to the origin story. My goal was that "Wayne Murders/Kents Find the Rocket" vibe, where it feels like it occurred in the past without being a full on period piece

"I am vengeance" etc is the classic Kevin Conroy Batman clip, but for me, this is the one line I could ONLY imagine him delivering:
