Thinking about another classic JRPG reinterpreted into a action game with cheesy voice acting and modern apparel...
Games usually have the mid 10s in terms of series count (which I prefer for focusing the story/spotlight) The ones that get close or over 30 that aren't Gacha games are Z2.2, Z3.2, and OE, although listing every individual VOTOMS piece of media always felt like cheating IMO lol.
Forgot about Saul Goodman being in Attack on Titan.

I personally find making wojak edits lazy, but this is the best way I can think of to describe my frustration with a lot of usually levelheaded people applying a very racist double-standard to Japanese games where Asians apparently can't write jokes, be self-aware, or sarcastic.
The Ryan Gosling tag on danbooru is as expected.
With the remake, looks like they're going with a modern take on the art, but if you'll indulge me, wanted to highlight that the original Live A Live had different manga artists at the time design each of the characters for each chapter to make them stand apart.
Consider this evolution method Micetosis
Every year, someone remakes that one XKCD comic but more cringe https://t.co/zLsLRZvMT1
