I think what makes money and exists in the public mindshare of GitS leans on super detailed character designs but I think there's room for an OVA or something that leans into the goblin energy of the source material with a style akin to the late 80s comedy anime of the time.

I personally find making wojak edits lazy, but this is the best way I can think of to describe my frustration with a lot of usually levelheaded people applying a very racist double-standard to Japanese games where Asians apparently can't write jokes, be self-aware, or sarcastic.
