Why you should read SpandEx on Webtoon, Reason 9: Superheroes can exist in any genre and I plan to have fun telling mashup stories planted in all my favorite genres. Horror, fantasy, sci-fi, western, martial arts, post-apocalyptic… the possibilities are limitless.
Why you should read SpandEx on Webtoon, Reason 10: Reader participation! One of the fun things about serialized storytelling is being able to evolve the story organically and react to the real world. I plan to let readers decide some plot developments and enter contests.
Why you should read SpandEx on Webtoon, Reason 11: I've been drawing some of these characters since I was in elementary school! These drawings are probably from high school. I'm trying to capture some of that weird, youthful energy in this project.
