International backers who choose a physical reward for the Bill the Platypus Kickstarter will get a free sketch card. Shipping costs are prohibitively high for most people, so this is my way of saying thanks.
Bill the Platypus is "finished"! Or at least it would be except I decided to try drawing 2 more pages before the campaign ends next week. Because I can't just make things easier on myself. Kickstarter link in pinned tweet! Less than $2k away from our goal, with 6 days left! 😬

Bill the Platypus Issue 1 is finished! Any comic pro mutuals want to take a look at the PDF? Entering the final 5 days of the Kickstarter about $2k short of our goal, so hoping for a big signal boost this weekend.
WIP on a new page I'm adding to the comic. A proper look at the fierce little goat sucker. 5 days left to back Bill the Platypus on Kickstarter today! I'm bumping the page count up from 24 to 32 pages! https://t.co/CCOOf5Hi73
Finished the extra page I added to the end. Here's the only non spoilery panel. 2 days left to back Bill the Platypus on Kickstarter! Link in profile.

This Toppi page is incredible.

#PortfolioDay Here's an unlettered scene from the first issue of my self published kaiju anthology series STOMPED. Funding is underway for issue 4 right now on Kickstarter! Link in comments & pinned tweet. You can catch up through KS or check out 1 & 2 digitally on my website.

And process. #TMNT

What do I need to do to get hired to draw TMNT or Godzilla for @IDWPublishing ?

Trap Jaw art card. Fun character I've never drawn before. Can I tell you a secret? I've never watched an episode of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

Master Peace & Hoj Poj line art. See below for the tattoo version. I'm sure some of you are disappointed this isn't a little more 🌶 🌶 🌶 but I decided to keep it soft R for this first piece.

How did people draw things like this before the internet? Did every illustrator have a room full of prop weapons?

@GailSimone I get why Cho's juvenile sense of humor turns people off, but he is an incredibly skilled artist and can do so much more than the T&A he is known for.

Almost done with my reread of the Archie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics. I probably had about 1/4 of the entire series collected as a kid and they made a big impact. Every once in a while, especially later in the run, you'd get some surprisingly not for kids moments.

I'm curious to see how this ends up turning out. I'm thinking I better jump into inks instead of fussing over the pencils.
