Today marks 1 year since I debuted in LaLa! Considering that I had a pitch that I had developed over a year rejected, plus got semi-snubbed in a smaller contest in LaLa's sister mag Hana to Yume, I had no idea I'd be working on my first series less than three months later!
(Shameless plug time) I have a scene like that in my manga where the main character says the word "I" with the meaning "heroine", as she muses about whether she can make a fitting heroine in the world she's been transported into.
