    For those who don't know, Araki gesture sketches his figures and their anatomy, only stopping when it "looks right." Then the pencil is used for the VERY rough lines, you wouldn't see any shading or detail like eyelashes or pupils. These sketches ROUGHLY fills some of those in

    This angle is hard. Not quite a 3/4 view, but not flat either. Key is to not draw the eye to far back, and to not overextend the nose. This is also an example of one direction hatching, instead of crosshatching

    #jojolion Example: gesturing a pose. Start from a good head shape, then just let it flow downward into the pose you want. Raise/lower the hips like shown in the sketch, and it creates the sense of walking. This is also a display of good perspective, which I've outlined as well.
