There have been more tragic losses to the veterinary community recently - it happens with such alarming frequency. And I think colleagues would agree that one of the hardest things about this job is, it's not easy for people to understand WHY it's hard.

I did these a few years ago hoping to highlight some professional woes that might not be obvious to folks on the outside. I've since moved to parttime, and I still feel so much guilt for not being strong enough to hack it in the industry, but I had to preserve my own sanity.

Thank you all for the kind words on this thread... and colleagues, stay safe out there, please take care of yourselves! 💕 Here are a couple more old ones. In early '17 when these were drawn I had reduced my hours, and it was easier to see the 'funnier' side of things 😅
