What most people do, and what is admittedly easier, is to just put the panels on top of eachother, like this. it works, but the establishing shot loses a lot of impact this way. We can barely see it, because the format doesn't let us take up horizontal space the same way!
Instead, I suggest breaking up your single panel into multiple, like this! this way, we spend a lot more visual time on the establishing shot, and we also get to see more details from it. it makes us feel more "in the scene" this way.
Luckily for us, traditional page layouts utilize vertical panels quite often! The most difficult part of this transition is making sure that your original files are big enough to fit across a page horizontally.
how to draw shoes when you hate drawing shoes but have to draw 188908590 of them cause you're making a webcomic
telling stories
Oooo I had to draw Eros for the #webtoonmultiverse 👀 He makes a very good vampire pirate...
Some notes on my approach to drawing abs ^^ As always there's so many different ways to do things, this is just how I do it!
The webcomic in question: https://t.co/CUWekgoFfq It's a light-hearted LGBT+ found family sci-fi/romance, and I draw more than just shoes in it :)
hope this helps!
I love my job.
