I just really wanted to bring attention to this fun little scene. I love imagining folk illustrations in fantasy and how they'd reflect the people!

does drawing ornate frames make you bald - do you look at alphonse mucha's work and think "how can I do this" ; well look no further. this sloppy guide took longer to make than the frame itself did.
sometimes artists say "use references" without elaborating - and for people new to anatomy / composition, that can seem pretty daunting or vague. so here's a messy tutorial on how I utilize references and how you can too ?
