Shang-Chi and the Quest for Immorality is in stores TODAY! Here's a shoutout to the amazing colors that Ian Herring did. He managed to make the fantasy sequences and the real life sequences really sing. I couldn't have done it without him!
Still reeling from my Harvey Award win for best Children's or Young Adult Book for HUNGRY GHOST! If you haven't heard of it, it's a YA contemporary about an Asian American girl struggling with Disordered Eating body image and family dysfunction.
We're doing teen discourse in books again and I just wanted to recommend ROAMING by Mariko Tamaki and Jillian Tamaki. They really capture the teen voice and experience so well, I can only hope to get that as right as they do.

CITY OF SECRETS, my fantasy MG Graphic Novel had an incredibly complex city to build. Borrowing from my film roots, I grabbed a pre-made model of a clock in SketchUp, exploded it, rearranged it, and drew over it to keep the city consistent. 3D Kitbash!
