based off eddie's thread i want to look at the season 2 ed, how it prophesies the plot, and the emphasis on how history repeats itself. firstly the pilgrimage made by the eldians and their will to survive, depicted in the ED/manga here.
and thus we see the rumbling itself, the colossal titans from within the walls flattening the earth, just as was promised
now im going to talk about an unresolved character arc we have yet to find closure on: connie's mother. you'd think it would be a kindness to put her out of her misery, trapped like that, but if the titan powers ARE dissolved, will this mean connie will get his happy ending?
also not sure if this is relevant, but the parallels between this composition of armin/shifters and that of ymir and the nine titans strikes a chord for me. when this illustration is used within the ED, we see ymir's image slashed - could this tell the end of the titans powers?
