antagonists are the cause of conflict im a story, whether evil or not, and that is not what kageyama represents to hinata. kageyama is the resolve of the conflict, he teaches hinata to be better, and in return hinata fulfills kageyama's goals of finding someone stronger than him

them being separated by a net doesn't mean anything to them, they are still working together on the same goals as they have for the last decade and they always will.
