I was visiting my Gramma's house on her lovely, barely chugging along AOL OC computer. Youtube was still brand new and I was exploring the front page. And there...was a KH2 youtube poop. I'm not joking. This is how I found KH.
Through that video I backwards engineered my way through the KH story and realized I had come across the most mind-meltingly cool thing my child mind could think of- Disney characters....with DRAMA...and ANGST...I had never experienced anything so edgy and grown-up feeling
And just like that my world-view was shattered. I became more "worldly" and absorbed all KH media I could find, and then eventually it spread into anime, and eventually more goth shit. This was what truly prompted my dark descent into adolescence
Finally at 13 I was able to play my first KH game, Chain of Memories. I wasn't allowed to own a big console, but handhelds like the Game Boy Advance were fine. And it was that day...a certain character...made me feel like a WOMAN,,,,,and changed my tastes forever....
To this day I've still only played CoM and the mobile game and watched all the other games on youtube. But YES KH is still one of my favorite series ever. It's glorious, stupid, and was the spring-board of so much of my teen experience. Will always love you KH.

It's very weird that Gravity Falls is 10- and even weirder where it led me! From silly fan comics that got turned into memes, to actually contributing in some way! Wild times yall
