Looking for suggestions of prehistoric animals to paint! I loved hearing ideas a while back on what species to depict, as I'm way too indecisive myself!
Natovenator! Exciting newly described species of dinosaur that showed traits of being an aquatic pursuit predator.
Zuniceratops for your Wednesday evenings~

I make art bec I was a kid who really wanted to draw dinosaurs, and whenever I have a chance, I still go back to my first inspiration
Carnotaurus painting- trying out some mixer brush workflow in photoshop and returning to my comfort zone for art.
Watercolor Triceratops- birds perching on ceratopsian horns is always my jam.
A few older dinosaur paintings. When I paint these animals I try to depict them exactly as that- animals existing within a time and place, showing speculative behaviors that help convey that they once lived and interacted with the world and were as tangible as any wildlife.
Local freak discovers the joys of arson. A speculative painting inspired by how some modern birds will spread active fires to flush out prey, and extending that idea to azhdarchids like Quetzalcoatlus and possible hunting strategies. Also included the early initial color rough!
#PortfolioDay I like painting haunted corners, forgotten ruins, and of course, dinosaurs and their kin. Worked with Disney Animation, DreamWorks, Nickelodeon, and Gathering!
