ART TIP: Step by step head construction. For the slice thing, both sides should generally be sliced, but this angle lets me be lazy since you won't see the other ear. If you want to mimic someone's style for drawing heads, you can trace their guidelines and practice that.

ART TIPS: A friend asked me for help with drawing heads and I had a bit of fun writing down stuff I learned and drawing examples. Here are some of my notes. 3D head turns are great practice for perspective.
