(2/?) Zagreus' foster-sister, a city leader and politician living in Seven-Gated Thebes. I always knew I wanted to write more of her, since her first appearance. She was born from the struggle between chaos and order, divine and human law.

(4/?) The first illustration is the entrance to Callisto's den. I wanted to make a bunch of extra sketches about how they survived that week, gathering snow for water, stripping bark from trees, etc. but I ran out of time.

(6/?) The sphinx of Thebes is usually drawn quite elegantly in ancient art, so I wanted to bring back some of her more bestial qualities. Her name is the Strangler after all. Despite having immortality through her widespread fame, she still craved a second chance at life.

There's little information on Moros, the god that drives men to their inevitable doom. He's listed in the Theogony as a child of Nyx and Prometheus replaces him with Elpis (false hope) so humankind can live on (the Pandora myth!). His tattoos here are also very Scythian. (10/?)
