A detail I love about V Rising is that Dracula owns statues referencing the Chinese dragon and pearl statues, with the pearl (blood) signifying enlightenment. You even get to fight his pet dragon Talzur, but I'm not sure if the name is a reference to anything :O

God, even small character building touches like Haymar hiding a burn scar and having glowing eyes because she uses fire magic is gone from Concord's concept art to final design.

Concord's concept art makes me yearn for what could have been. Sony was so scared of Kyps looking like the century old fucked up robot she is in her lore.

Concord's showing what the character designs used to look like, and it's frustrating to see that the artists *did* draw cool stuff only for Lark's final design to end up like that. Arm canon? Gone. Fungus clothes? Gone. Body horror? Gone. Every opportunity to serve cunt, denied.

I like Kyps's current design, but her concept art visually showing her lore as a defunct 100 year old robot trying to fit in by wearing human clothes is delightfully devastating
