These 2 spent a lot of time and she's the closest person he's gotten to and the only pillar who decided to get close to him, so it makes sense why he's crushed over losing like the only person that cared for him, he'll never get to hear her voice or spend time with her again. 4

Part 2. What's also depressing is when you realize Giyuu has always been good at keeping his feelings in check but here he still cracks hearing Shinobu is gone, we haven't seen a reaction from him like this since he talked about sabito. Shinobu without a doubt meant a lot to him 4

It's honestly so heart wrenching seeing the reaction from giyuu hearing about shinobu's death compared to rengoku's, like he might've not shown much emotion when they were together but when she was finally gone his true feelings came out and he was genuinely sad she was gone :( 4
