Just learned that the great John Paul Leon has died. This one is like a punch in the gut, even though I didn't really know him. We met several times and he was always super nice--And SUCH a great artist, such a talent, gone way way too soon. 1

Now that this one's been announced I guess it's safe to post --My cover for Warwick Johnson-Cadwell's FALCONSPEARE, his follow up to MISTER HIGGENS COMES HOME and OUR ENCOUNTERS WITH EVIL. I was particularly happy with the way this one turned out. 1

So apparently this wonderful thing is in stores today. I'm usually pretty uncomfortable about promoting my stuff (and pretty much NEVER call any of my stuff wonderful!) I'm super proud of this book and all the proceeds go to charity so it's okay, right? I want to point out 1/2 3
