After running for a bit. One of the characters, yuko, finds her. She notices that mitaka ain't wearing shoes, so she offers up one of her shoes. Mitaka refused the offer. Yuko asks to bring her back her shoes then. Mitaka tries to, but then yuko runs away. 2

Its here that mitaka's mental health isn't doing so well. Like most people who try to ignore their pain, she keeps telling herself she's fine. She clearly isn't. I like that the war devil comforts her. She asks mitaka if she should take care of it. Probably means killing. 1

Soon after, we see mitaka open her locker and see her shoes be covered in raw meat. I believe the raw meat was chicken meat. This act is a reminder of what she did to bucky. Before this scene btw, we did get a montage of her remembering bucky's death. #chainsawman 2

Despite not having a lot of devil fights, we did get to see just how bad bucky's death made an impact on mitaka's life. After she accidentally killed him, her classmates view her now as a monster. In this chapter, she gets bad mouthed by three girls from her class. #chainsawman 1
