ao ashi 269 kitano's story didn't disappoint. i love his simple desire to improve in football and his distaste in being isolated due to his 'talent.' he wants a place where he can go beyond his current abilities, and narimiya was the only one who provided that support
i also really love how this captures aomori seiran as a team–people who want to evolve. with that goal in mind, they're able to fearlessly execute such a tricky tactic in a game with high stakes against a top-level team. nothing will change unless you do something new.
and the payoff?? so good. 🔥 this chapter and the last one really made me want to root for aomori seiran all the more. they're a team who can connect well and have a fundamental understanding of the game and how to adapt to situations

hirugami sachirou has a very inspiring story
PEDRO TURNED HINATA INTO GAARA IN THE LATEST LET'S HAIKYUU 😭
v*z and their liberties with translating are so funny sometimes like they rly said a lot of words in the atsumu/oikawa interaction when all their speech bubbles simply say "eh? eh? eh?" and "ha? ha? ha?"
new furudate illustration on the latest haikyuu-bu volume i think kita was saying he was a roomba in a past life and atsumu can't tell if he's joking or not 😭😭😭😭
kita shinsuke doesn't need the evil meme since haikyuu-bu already did it
aw thats so cute how kita shinsuke thinks of inarizaki from time to time ❤️
it was like seeing light for the first time after being in perpetual darkness. my existence can be summed up into two selves: the version of me before this and the version of me after this. the gratitude i felt for being alive and witnessing this is beyond comprehension
