vinland saga 29 this was so good and tied in well with the bible quote from chp 27 ("why dost thou always forsake us and forget us for so long?"). to christians, there is this belief that god always has a plan and they use this to accept their fate, no matter good or bad.
vinland saga 39 it's normal to question beliefs after experiencing hardship, but i love the approach canute takes with it. paradise feels unattainable esp when it feels like everything is against you. instead of giving up on reaching it, he chooses to lead its creation on earth.

just finished the prologue of vinland saga. i have nothing but praise for this entire arc. absolutely phenomenal storytelling with wonderful thought-provoking scenes that leaves you almost speechless. excited to see what's next 🔥
