speaking of another comic starting with "we are NOT friends": there's the one where Chameleon has been terrorizing spider-man, attacking him at every turn disguised as civilians, wearing him out since he can't sleep, and nowhere is safe •Deadpool Annual #2 (2014)

in fact, he sounds so paranoid at this point that even deadpool tries to talk him down. and spider-man lets him because he.. trusts him🥲 (of course, it turns out peter was right, and it was chameleon again)

but deadpool makes sure spider-man's identity stays safe... from everyone🥲👌 (even himself) and since spidey is prone like this, he swaps their suits to lure the chameleon out after him instead (to kill him-)

....and so deadpool spends the day, trying to do spider-man's job to sell the swap (ofc it's not as easy being spidey as it might look) (it's never easy😂)

chameleon gets to him too, in the end (his plan was to kidnap spidey, and then wear his skin as a suit.. ew😬) anyway spidey shows up in the deadpool suit he was left in, chameleon quickly changing as well.... but of course, deadpool can tell who the real spidey is.
